Surfboard Company, RebelBoards Participates in 2007 MTV Movie Awards Celebrity Gift Suite

Torrance, CA (PRWEB) May 31, 2007 -- RebelBoards (www.rebelboards.com) has been invited to participate in the MTV Movie Awards Celebrity Gift Suite -- produced by GBK Productions -- from today through Saturday, June 2 at the Sofitel Hotel in Los Angeles.

RebelBoards is dedicated to making surfing more accessible. Each RebelBoard is hand-shaped and built for performance and durability. In the past two years, RebelBoards has expanded their product line to surfboards, bodyboards, skimboards, paddleboards, stand up paddle surfboards and softboards. Top celebrities, ranging from actors to musicians, have been invited to this exclusive "gift" suite, which will run from 10 p.m. until 2:30 a.m. today, noon to 7 p.m. on June 1 and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on June 2.

"The event is a 'gift suite' for the MTV Movie Awards where various nominated celebrities and presenters are attending and receiving gifts," said Gavin Keilly, president of GBK Productions. "At the same time, GBK Productions is donating 20 percent of its profits to various nonprofits who are involved."

According to Rosanna Mason, Rebelboards will be gifting bodyboards, skimboards, surfboards, skateboards as well as their especially handmade tie dyed t-shirts to the various attending celebrities. Each celebrity will be asked to sign their featured shortboards, which will be auctioned off for another charity event. RebelBoards also participated in the grand opening of the Stoli Hotel Celebrity Gift Suite in Hollywood, Calif., held in early May.
